CANES Installation Technician
King Technologies is seeking a CANES Installation Technician to provide support and assistance to assess, inspect, and correct system faults in Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES), ADNS and other C4I systems/equipment.
Position Summary/Descriptions:
Identify and correct anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance, and connectivity problems of Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES). Provide integration expertise for U.S. Navy network systems and associated systems to support the Navy Network Integration and Engineering Facility (NIEF) facility located at Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) headquarters in San Diego, California.
Essential Duties:
- Hands-on experience in the troubleshooting, assessment, and repair of AN/USQ-208 Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES)
- Provide both on board and distance support and expertise for Navy networks and associated systems during installation on board U.S. Navy vessels and in a post-installation environment, including remote support and troubleshooting.
- Preload, configure and test equipment and systems to include servers, workstations, routers, and switches.
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and de-installation of electronic systems, components, cables, cableways, while using Fiber, LAN Data Cable Tester, Megger and multimeter.
Qualifications Required:
- Active DoD SECRET Clearance is required
- DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IT Level I and IAT Level II certifications
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting, assessing, and repairing C2I equipment
- Desired skills include experience with one or more of the following:
- CANES, ADNS, CENTRIXS, ISNS/ORT, ONE-NET, SCI-Networks, CND and SCIP-IWF.
